Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Support! Wear the Pink Ribbon!

We are supporting
the Breast Cancer
Awareness
Month!
October is here, and it only means one thing! That is, wearing pink ribbon or anything pink in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Despite of the increasing worldwide awareness, many still succumb to the disease. Breast cancer kills almost 8 million people worldwide and most of these deaths are from the low and medium income countries, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says cancer of the breast is one of the most common cancer affecting women.

Although it commonly affects women, men can have breast cancer too!

Like most cancers, breast cancer can be successfully treated when found early and prompt treatment is immediately administered.

We should all do our part in learning more about the condition and let our loved ones be informed about breast cancer. In addition, we should involve the whole family in following a healthy lifestyle, such as eating more fruits and vegetables and being physically active.
